Legal framework & Regulation
The Postgraduate Program aims to provide specialized education in addressing the effects of work and the environment on the population’s health, where innovative and creative thinking and action are needed more than ever today. It emphasizes the recognition, assessment, control, and improvement of risk factors for people’s health arising from work and the environment. The curriculum is designed in such a way that students delve into a wide range of interdisciplinary fields.
The goal is to develop specialized scientists, researchers, analysts, and professionals who will promote public health in the field of occupational and environmental health, as well as the recognition and application of cultural values, administrative practices, and scientific actions in the design and implementation of innovative public health policies.
The MSc in Occupational and Environmental Health provides two specializations:
Specialization I: Occupational Health, for graduates of departments within the 3rd Field of Health Sciences.
Specialization II: Environmental Hygiene, for graduates of all departments of Polytechnic Schools or Technical Universities, graduates of Environmental Science departments at Universities, graduates of the Department of Public Health and Community Health (Public Health specialization), and the Schools of Technological Applications of the Technological Educational Institutes.
